I graduated in June 2023 with a Computer Science degree and zero work experience. No internships, no projects people had actually used — just grades and theory.

Lessons Learned
Show impact, not just features
Don’t say “built a login system.” Say “built an auth system used by 800+ students that handled concurrent logins during peak registration.”
Write case studies
The narrative around your project matters as much as the code. Explain your thinking, your challenges, and your decisions.
Keep it updated
I add something new every month — a new certificate, an improved project, a new skill. Your portfolio is a living document.
